Autumn Elliston Vineyards Wedding Portraits

Autumn was in full swing at Elliston Vineyards for Misha and Bobby’s makeup wedding portraits. The rain was relentless on their wedding last year and they didn’t get the sunny portraits they envisioned. After reaching out to me, we setup a time for some do-over portraits at Elliston Vineyards in Sunol (I was not the photographer on their wedding day).

For reference, their bridal session was the third week of November. You can see the beautiful fall foliage and colors! They got their sunny day portraits! If you are planning a wedding in Sunol, keep in mind that sun dips below the hill an hour before sunset. If you’re planning a wedding at Elliston in the fall, consider whether you want autumn colors or whether you’d prefer a mix of autumn trees and other backgrounds.

Their bridal party flew and drove in to help them get also get bridal party shots. How awesome is that?! With bridal parties we get a variety of shots and poses. We aim for 3-4 poses with bridesmaids/groomsmen, and at least 3 variations of the whole bridal party. We also quickly get solos of each friend and the bride or groom. 25 minutes is usually enough time to cover these bases!

Misha also brought faux bouquets for her portraits. Something Borrowed Blooms is a floral rental company if you’re interested in renting!

Without the time restraints of a typical wedding day, we played creatively and took our time. If you’re interested in adding on a bridal session to your wedding collection, contact me today!
