Tyler likened Bree and Nolan’s relationship to Nolan’s first love: baseball. The first inning was when they met at school. The second inning was when they fell in love; all it took was a trip to Tahoe. After that trip, Nolan knew he would marry Bree.
The next three innings were the honeymoon phase. They spent all their time together and couldn’t get enough. Then the sixth inning was when they moved in with family; according to Tyler, it was the sixth inning slump and harder to score 😉 They got engaged, had to walk through the waiting and planning phase, and here they are in the 9th inning. There’s still a lot of ball to play, a lot of life ahead, but they have already won the game. Such a beautiful, applicable analogy.
Bree and Nolan celebrated their wedding at Jardines De San Juan Bautista. The blush and succulent bouquet perfectly complemented the gardens and all of their details were the perfect mix of simple and elegant.
Bree’s dad used to wear Adidas sneakers everyday- and so on her wedding day, Bree and her sister both wore those same sneakers to honor his memory.
I’ll say the only difficult part of their wedding day for me was the dances; I had to fight through tears to keep shooting. Sometimes the love radiating during those moments is so strong you can’t help but feel it in your soul. And I wasn’t the one; I noticed so many guests wiping away tears!
Bree and Nolan,
You two are magic. Your wedding day was such a beautiful celebration, and it was only the beginning! I hope the joy that you felt is nothing compared to the joy that is coming. Keep making each other laugh- I know you won’t have a problem with that 🙂 much love to you both! Congrats!
