Bay Area Garden Engagement Session Location

Have you heard of Gamble Gardens? It’s a beautifully manicured and blooming garden in Palo Alto. It’s available for your engagement session without a permit or fee; as long as the photographer notifies the office they will be there shooting!

Gamble Garden does host weddings and private events, so there is a portion of the grounds that may be closed off during your time there. But there is plenty of room to shoot elsewhere if that’s the case!

Pay careful attention to their hours; they are closed some weekdays and the closing time is earlier than expected on the weekend. But even with an earlier closing time, you can expect beautiful light pouring through the trees, blooms at certain times of year, and a wide variety in scenery.

There is street parking and sometimes it gets pretty crowded. But if you are looking for a garden location, it can be great! I prefer it to anything in San Francisco as the weather is a little more predictable, and parking is easier (and free!)

Enjoy some more photos from these garden engagement sessions…and if you’re looking for an engagement and/or wedding photographer, feel free to reach out here!
