Rachel and Michael’s fall engagement photos at Joaquin Miller Park turned out SO beautiful! They’ll be getting married at Ardenwood Farms next fall and found me through the venue’s preferred list. The woodsy vibe at Joaquin Miller Park is similar to all the greenery at their venue, yet different enough to give a unique look. I’m pretty sure we could have done engagement photos in a parking garage, and they STILL would have made it look good. 😉 We had beautiful weather and photographing their beautiful faces in such a beautiful place made me so happy!
Rachel and Michael had so much fun together, despite “not knowing what to do.” (I hear that phrase from almost every client, and yet every single one of them kills it! Trust me, it’s my job to guide you and your job just to show up!) Michael loved all the kisses. It turns out engagement sessions are pretty fun because you spend the whole time snuggled up close. 😉
I love to lean into a couple’s energy and showcase the unique way they relate to one another. As you’ll see, for Rachel and Michael, that’s a lot of laughing! Some of my favorite images came towards the end; the sunlight poked through the trees in a beautiful way and Rachel’s white dress stood out so beautifully from the dark trunks!
