They say rain is good look on your wedding day…considering how much rain October 14th brought, I think it’s safe to say Gabrielle and Joel have a *ton* of luck going into marriage! (I also get that song “It’s like raiiiiiiin on your wedding day” stuck in my head every time I see these photos!) They met as freshman in college, and 8 years later they tied the knot in front of their closest friends and family. Their first look was probably my favorite moment of the day…Gabrielle saw Joel cry for the first time! As soon as he turned around and saw his bride, they both started crying (to be honest…I did too!).
They got ready in the cutest boutique hotel in Jack London Square. The rain created the coziest, most romantic environment. Although the roads were wet, traffic was heavy, and not everything went according to plan (and really, what wedding day goes exactly according to plan?!), Gabrielle and Joel’s love shined through. They had family and friends come from near and far to witness their commitment to each other; it was obvious that Joel and Gabrielle are SO loved and supported. Their reception was nothing short of amazing. Let me tell you – Joel and Gabrielle (and their bridal party) KNOW how to have a good time. And the father-daughter dance was the greatest I’ve ever seen! It had 4 parts to it, each better than the last. I have no doubt these two will have a marriage filled with laughter and good times. Enjoy some highlights from their wedding!
