Morgan and Andre | Big Sur Engagement Session

Watching the way they looked at each other, I realized there’s even more magic now then there was six and a half years ago in the beginning stages of their relationship. I knew Morgan before her and Andre were ever assigned to sit next to each other in Spanish class. Although she was just as amazing before, it became clear very quickly that she was created to be his. Living almost two thousand miles apart during college proved their devotion was true. Morgan flew out several times to watch Andre play baseball, and the months spent apart were made worth it by those occasional weekends together. After college, they’ve continued to kick distance in the butt because Andre got drafted onto the Kansas City Royals! After chasing his dream of baseball for many years, Andre made another dream come true: his high school sweetheart said YES to forever with him!

 

Morgan and I met in elementary school, and became quick friends when we went to high school together. You know how you often fade away from people you went to high school with? That didn’t happen with us. We’re still best friends, and we still squealed like little girls when she showed me her engagement ring. I have to preface these photos with saying…this wasn’t our first session together! We’ve done 4 or 5 sessions in the last 6 years, and I’m sure this one won’t be the last 🙂

 

There aren’t words strong enough to describe how full my heart is. Andre and Morgan, I love you guys so much! Thank you for trusting me with your engagement pictures. I can’t wait to start wedding planning with you…and you better believe I’ll be a sobbing hot mess during your wedding. After many years of distance, commitment, and love, you can finally make official what you’ve felt in your hearts for so long. Here’s to a forever of togetherness!!
