His eyes slowly opened and he knew he loved the man he was looking at. Shane’s daddy reciprocated his loving gaze by holding him softly and caressing his little feet. We were in between poses, and I immediately grabbed my camera to capture the moment. Shane stared at his daddy for a couple of minutes; his gaze was focused and his face completely peaceful. He was studying the face of the man whose voice he had gotten to know so well.
Little Shane was unexpectedly welcomed into the world 3 weeks early. His mommy, daddy, and older brother Luke love him so much! Although at times we had to bribe Luke with Chocolate Milk to take a picture with his baby brother, there were other times when Luke would walk up to Shane and just hug him. I’m sure Luke loves little Shane more than he loves his Chocolate Milk 😉
