Erika + Mikhail’s spring wedding took place at Nella Terra Cellars after their catholic ceremony. After getting ready we headed to Holy Spirit Church in Fremont for their ceremony. It was a warm, sunny day- it was great to be indoors for the ceremony! Erika and Mikhail shared a “first touch;” a great alternative to a first look if you want to keep things more traditional. They were joyful and excited…all their friends and family were gathered in the church waiting for them to walk down the aisle!
Erika and Mikhail had a large, fun bridal party with a mix of family and good friends. They share a sweet Corgi that unfortunately couldn’t be at the wedding. After their ceremony we headed to Nella Terra for bridal party and couple portraits. Their guests were starting to arrive and were greeted by the gorgeous tented reception at the venue. After some portrait fun it was time to get the party started with all their guests!
Both Erika and Mikhail’s fathers had passed away, and they chose to honor them in beautiful ways. They had custom hankies for their moms, a special painting of Erika’s dad with her in her wedding dress, and they chose to do “family dances” with their immediate family. The speeches were equal parts teary and hilarious, and the dance floor was “lit” as the kids would say 😉
Erika closed out the night in a different dance floor dress – a trend I love to see! The dance floor is when you can finally let loose and feel comfortable; why not pick an extra dress and pair of shoes? Enjoy some highlights from this beautiful Nella Terra Cellars wedding!
Big thanks to the creative team that made this happen!
