Michelle and Daniel shared the perfect summer Ardenwood Farms wedding; the sunflowers we got lucky with were a reflection of everyone’s happiness!
Michelle and Daniel share two beautiful children and our day started off with the girls at their family home. Their daughter woke up and saw mommy in her pretty dress – then she got to get pretty herself! Daniel helped his son get ready with all the guys, and Greg was there to capture photos of them with a cousin’s sweet ride.
First looks are always sweet, but theirs was made sweeter by having more family around. Michelle’s dad walked her to the first look; my dad did the same for me so I love to see this! Their kiddos were both watching and jumped right into their arms afterwards. Some of their romance photos turned into family photos…because you can’t stop being mom and dad even on your wedding day!
A small bridal party made their portraits go quickly. In the typical wedding day timeline, we accomplish couple photos and bridal party photos before the ceremony, saving family portraits for immediately after the ceremony.
One of my favorite details was on display at the cake table; Michelle’s parents cake topper from their wedding decades ago! Michelle and her dad shared a first dance that started off sweet and finished with everyone laughing. You’ll see why when you scroll down! My dad and I did the same thing…I love that we shared some special dad moments in common!
One moment I won’t forget from their dance floor is when “Huntin’, Fishin’, and Lovin’ Every Day” by Luke Bryan came on. It was their son’s favorite song and everybody knew it! Forming a circle next to him, the adults sang to him and he was on top of the world! Their marriage is already a huge success because their children are loved and get to see their love. Enjoy some highlights from Michelle and Daniel’s summer Ardenwood wedding!
