Man oh man was this a fun newborn session! Tiberias was so chill (he was awake almost the whole time!) and we had so much fun putting him in a little elephant outfit. His mama is obsessed with elephants, so it was very fitting. His daddy just laughed at the elephant outfit…but his mama and I couldn’t believe how cute he looked!

Also…how cool is his name?! His daddy always loved the name, but mommy said it had to be Biblical. They did some research…and it’s in the Bible! Tiberias is a city in Israel just off the shores of the Lake of Galilee. So he got the coolest name ever 🙂

He made it one of my easiest newborn sessions ever. He fussed just a little bit, but would calm down as soon as he was held. Although I have a 3 month old, he totally gave me baby fever. Imagine that! This sweet boy has a full head of hair and the cutest cry you’ll ever hear (I didn’t realize how loud Duke cries until I heard his sweet cry!). He loved holding his mama’s hand and calmed down whenever daddy held him. He was so wide awake and loved the camera! The sound of the shutter made him look towards the camera…he’s basically a model baby already.

My newborn sessions are simple and baby-led…meaning we go off of baby’s cues. When he cried, we had mommy and daddy snuggle him for some pictures. When he was awake, we got lots of him looking at the camera. And when he fell asleep we got some of my favorites…the elephant hat pictures! I always tell my clients not to stress because we can work with whatever mood baby is in 🙂
