This wedding was shot by an associate on my team and I can’t wait for you to see it! Josh and Fatima threw one heck of a winter Canyon View San Ramon wedding. They originally hired me to photograph their wedding but surprise!!! Their wedding day became my exact due date with our third baby. Carly stepped up to photograph their wedding and did a fabulous job!
Here is how associate weddings work: All the pre-wedding communication and planning happens with yours truly. A vetted and trained photographer actually photographs your engagement session (if applicable) and wedding. The post-production is also handled by yours truly and your images maintain the classic light and timeless style! It’s a collaborative effort that gives you a very similar experience at a slightly lower cost.
Josh and Fatima shared their first look and bridal party photos at Canyon View in San Ramon. After their ceremony at a nearby church, everyone traveled back to Canyon View for the reception. Even in February, the sun was shining and they got the classic Canyon View golden hour!
One thing about this venue is that guests love enjoying the view with a cocktail in hand. The patio at Canyon View is a gathering place for photos, quieter conversation, and champagne pops (as pictured below!) Although it’s small, the light is perfect for golden hour portraits.
Although I was bummed to not personally be apart of the wedding day, I was grateful for Carly stepping in to cover for me and the new Mr. and Mrs. Tam for being so kind about the change! Enjoy some highlights from Josh and Fatima’s winter wedding at Canyon View San Ramon.
